🔹 Coach Mazi Moayed – Mastering the essentials and fundamentals, Maz brings a wealth of experience in developing well-rounded athletes. With deep ties to the Marin Catholic football program, he has built a dynasty which claimed 14 League titles, 13 consecutive NCS championship appearances, 6 trips to the Regional NorCal championships, and 2 state championships. He boasts one of the fastest to 100 wins of any coach in California. His training has helped shape players like Jared Goff, Morgan Mahalak, Darius Peterson, Spencer Petras, Michael Ingrassia, and Joey Cook along with many others who have gone on to D1 programs.
🔹 Coach Gene Frugé – A Bay Area native with experience at on the defensive line at USC and an NFL stint, Coach Frugé brings a deep understanding of the game from the highest levels. His mentorship and strategic training help young athletes reach their full potential.
🔹 Coach Ted Linquist – With a background at Long Beach State, Coach Linquist has a proven track record of producing Offensive Linemen who have competed in the Pac-12, Mountain West, Big 10, Big 12, Big Sky, and many other top conferences. His expertise is invaluable in shaping the next generation of football stars.
🔹 Coach Mike Johnstone – Coached O-Line and TEs at St. Ignatius and most recently at San Francisco City College, Coach Johnstone brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He will be joining the coaching staff of Marin Catholic this season.
🔹 Coach Nick Kristoffer – Coach Nick has been a D-Line coach for Marin Catholic for the past 4 years. He was a standout DE at San Marin high school and played at Fresno State. His positive attitude and technical know how is a gift for young players trying to improve their skills.
